What is round and goes 2 or 3 MPH faster?

We completed my Edge Composites 45 clincher road wheel set.  The rear wheel employs a PowerTap 2.4 SL wireless hub which linked instantly with my Garmin GPS.  We built the front wheel with a Chris King R45 road hub (pink, though to Amy's disgust you can hardly tell).  It has been wonderful.  All of the advantages of my Fulcrum Racing Speed wheels without the drama of sew-up tires.  I got out with the usual suspects on Saturday and found an additional 2 or 3 MPH from somewhere.  I am pretty sure that it did not come from 20 hours in coach.  The wheels are quiet, the braking surface is smooth and the yellow DT brake pads match the yellow of my Prince of Spain and the yellow of my Veloflex tires.  This is a worthy wheel set and easily worth the investment.
