But was it honest?

Well it was a great tour. While sky keep the 1st place in the gc very controlled and very boring that would not stop the other 198 riders from shaking things up and keeping it interesting. I would have never guessed that Kittel having to abandoned last year  would come back so strong. Im excited to see a new crop of sprinters rising up.And Quitana! how great is this little guy?! White jersey, Polka dot jersey, a stage and 2nd in the gc. I cant wait to see the rest of his career.
But... there is a lingering issue here. And I know we all have our own opinions and so does the press corps and the riders and the team managers. Was it clean? It seems most of the press is at least skeptical which is refreshing. And it is hard to believe that while he did fade a bit near the end of the 3 week long sufferfest he was always attentive and feeling fresh for any attacks. But my real issue is in the press room. If SKY was on the side of clean cycling I cant imagine why they would be so offended and concerned by the press grilling them about doping. If you were trying to stop something wouldnt you be open to discussing all possibilities and circumstances surrounding the issue to help resolve it. I think team SKY kinda gave them selves away but shutting down the conversation on doping this year. Time will tell.
