Heavy head winds equal pandemonium.

Wow! And i though this was going to be a boring tour. Wrong again! Yesterday was the first time in a long time I was genuinely glued to the tv. Just goes to show how quickly  things can change up in a 3 week long race. In case you weren't watching Valverde got a puncture with like 60 miles to go and Argos, Quickstep and Belkin decided to punch it hard. At the same time there was a monster head wind which then strung out the field and caused a split of about 40-50 riders. Despite his teams best effort Valverde dropped down to 17th in the gc. But surprisingly ( at least to me) is Contador moving up to 3rd( but still 2:45 back) in the gc. And with the most exciting week in the race still to come it should get even better!
Also just a reminder we have special TDF sales every day of the tour. Today is 110% off all full priced wheels and tires!
